I use Google Analytics to understand basic traffic patterns—such as which posts are visited and how people find the site. These analytics settings are configured with the highest privacy options available:

- No advertising data are collected
- Google Signals and ads personalisation are disabled
- Data is kept for a maximum of two months
- Data is not shared with Google products or benchmarking services
Because the blog may receive visitors from the EU and UK, Google processes analytics data according to the GDPR Data Processing Terms. This means Google acts as a processor on my behalf and must handle any data in accordance with EU privacy standards.
The site may include embedded audio players from other sites (for example, Bandcamp), which may set their own cookies according to their respective privacy policies.
